Middle level of ICT integration
In today's class we learned about PhET stimulation, something very new personal to me. I remember some scenes from my middle school. Us trying to get all the materials for experiments and practical works. The bag load and lunch box, umbrella and all other stuffs. PhET simulation is like the new ray of hope.
every practical experiment seems possible in PhET simulation for all subjects, making it easier, cheaper and faster. it has all the features to conduct the required activity and get expected results. the results are almost natural.
well today, we were trying circuit connection for different situations. now, I normally do not enjoy anything that's science however this class was fun. everything was in computer and it felt so realistic. when you put the wires, cells and bulb in a wrong way, it just fires up!
the picture or the diagram above is how PhET works. its very effective, useful and handy.
WHAT IS PhET SIMULATION and WHY? 🔍
PhET simulations are interactive educational tools developed by PhET interactive simulation project used by many universities and even schools. it covers wide range of topics like science and math, allowing students to explore concepts through hands-on experimentation in a virtual environment.
using Phet simulation has lots of advantages. students are able to engage directly with the simulations, allowing for active learning and better comprehension of concepts.
complex concepts can be visualized in a clear and intuitive manner, helping students understand abstract ideas more easily. simulation also provides a safe environment for experimentation, allowing students to explore different scenarios and observe the outcome without real-world constraints.
WHAT ARE SOME REAL-LIFE APPLICATIONS OF PhET SIMULATION?
PhET simulation has various real-life applications across different fields. for instance , in education also, it contributes in teaching complex scientific concepts. PhET simulation is also used in research settings for modeling and simulating phenomena that are difficult or expensive to replicate in a lab. it can also be used to aid in training for healthcare, where hands-on experience is crucial.
